Hi girlie pop, I’m Gabi a thirty something year old mum of two with a passion for all things beauty.

Girltime Beauty was created with the intention of making women look and feel their best all while keeping costs and time to a minimum.

I started out as a brow stylist at the age of 21 and mastered the art of brows. I then took my skills beyond my own studio to launch my own online Brow Lamination Masterclass.

As the feedback and appreciation messages from the course rolled in, I quickly realized that my passion was to help others and pass on my knowledge. However, running a studio with staff, working full time and raising two little ones, there wasn't a lot of free time, so it was between the hours of 9pm - 2am that Girltime Beauty was dreamed up.

I was always a loyal lash extension girlie and loved the confidence they gave me. I would spend countless hours and money to maintain my lashes every few weeks. However, this was not sustainable especially with two little children and clients and staff who relied on me.

In 2020, Covid hit when I was 9 weeks pregnant with my second child.

By Christmas, I had a toddler and a newborn but I also had to bring in an income so I had filled up my days back to back with clients.

Right when we had thought things couldn’t get worse my son brought home a virus not so deadly to toddlers but that can be life threatening in newborns little lungs.

I had fully booked days at the salon, so for 6 nights and 7 days I slept and showered at the hospital. The pain of leaving her on in that hospital room and driving away was what got me thinking that something had to change. I just didn’t know what I was going to do.
