Totally Glueless lashes

Do they cause damage to the natural lash?

No, they do not cause any damage to your natural lashes as the glue is a soft and flexible substance. It has the power to hold onto the lashes however if you pull on them, they will not resist therefore will not pull out any of your natural lash hairs. Over the 3-5 day period of wear the power of the glue will become less as the bond comes into contact with natural oils on the lash, moisturizers and serums. This means once you are ready to remove the lash, the power of the glue will not be as strong as it was on day one. Keep in mind that you naturally shed 1-5 Telogen (adult) lashes per day so as you remove the Totally Glueless Segments you may see these adult lashes come away with the glue as they were not able to shed naturally whilst they were on. You will know that these are adult hair by looking at their length and there will be no pain as you remove them. If you want to wear your segments for a shorter amount of time you can use any oily substance to make the glue less sticky to aid removing them.

How long do they last?

With correct wear 3-7 days. Rubbing your eyes, Rubbing your eyes while wet / watery or contact with serums or oils will all be factors in your Totally Gluelesss segments coming off sooner than anticipated

How do you remove them?

No remover Necessary, simply pull to remove. Oil substances can be used to assist if required.

Can you use them again?

Yes. If you loose a segment by rubbing you can re stick this segment. This may get you another day to 2 days from that segment. Once worn and the glue has lost its tacky stick you can remove the glue by pulling it off and re wearing the segment with Grip it glue to get another 5-7 days of wear. Rubbing alcohol can be used prior to second use to clean them.

I'm new, what do I need?

All you will need is our applicators, however for best results we recommend purchasing our lash bubbles as well to properly clean your lashes before application.

Will they come in pre mapped styles?

Yes pre mapped styles are in the works! If you are looking at the segments with the different lengths in the boxes please see our Blog post on how to use the segments to your advantage to create the best lash effect for your eye shape.

How many styles are there?

Currently there are 6 totally glueless styles to choose from.

How many lengths do you have?

At this stage each pack comes with 3 lengths to create multiple effects. In the near future we will also be adding boxes with just one or two lengths.

Can you get them wet?

Yes, they can get wet. After they are wet lightly fan them dry and re clamp them to re lock them in place. This is not necessary after washing your face. This is only necessary if you are completely drenching your lashes.

Can I be a stockist?

Absolutely! Email admin@girltimebeauty.com to speak to Dani to find out more information

Go lashes

Is the glue included?

Unless you are purchasing “the kit” where glue, sealer, remover and applicators are all included you will need to purchase these items separately.

Should I get black or clear glue?

Grip It glue comes in clear & black. Confident users will prefer using black as it is more discrete. Clear glue starts off white meaning lash newbies may feel more comfortable seeing where the glue has been applied. Choose between one or both for twice the grip.

How do I apply them?

Please see our “How to” page for full descriptions & demos on how to apply your lashes. We also have “how to” videos in our highlights & guide section on our Instagram page.

How do I remove them?

Please see our “How to” page for full descriptions & demos on how to remove your lashes. We also have how to videos in our highlights & guide section on our Instagram page.

How long do they last?

With proper application they will last 5-7 days. To prolong the life we recommend using the sealer 3-4 days into wearing them for extra hold.

Can I wear them for one night?

Yes! Some customers like to use our Grips It glue even just for the night as it provides extra security and hold on the lashes without damaging your natural lashes.

How do I carry out a patch test?

Apply a small amount of product behind your ear. Allow to sit for 24 hours to see if a reaction will occur. If you feel irritation rinse the product off immediately & discontinue use of the product. If irritation persists once removed please seek medical advise.

What do I do if I have a reaction?

We highly advise to always carry out a test patch prior to use. Apply a small amount of the product to the inside of your wrist or behind your ear. Reactions can occur up to 24 hours after application so please wait until your test patch is clear before applying to your face/ eyes/ brows.

If you have a reaction, immediately discontinue use and seek medical advice

What are the lashes made from?

They are vegan & cruelty free made from Faux Mink Materials.

Are they cruelty free?

Yes they are 100% cruelty free.

Are they reusable?

Yes, care for them correctly and you will be able to use them time and time again!

How do I wash them?

Please see our “How to” page or visit our Instagram highlights where you will find reels on how to properly care for your lashes.

Which styles are 3D?

Look for styles described as fluffy or wispy.

You can mix and match lash styles and lengths to create a 3D effect.

Mixing C & D curls can be done however it may be harder to blend for lash newbies.

Which are your most natural styles?

Look for anything with a C curl which is a soft curl.

When choosing natural styles, you can still have length however if you have length you want to choose a style with less density so look for a lighter lash.

If you want more density but still want a natural look choose styles with less length.

Can I use a lash serum?

Yes a lash serum is absolutely fine to use while you are wearing your lashes. Apply the serum to the base of your lash line only.

Can I still wash my face?

Absolutely! When washing your face start with your lower half and wash as normal. As you wash around your eye area fold your face cloth in half and gently move around the eye area. Then use remover on a cotton tip to remove the eye make up right up close. See our FAQ highlights on Instagram for a video demo on this if you love a live demo.

Can I get them wet?

A few splashes of water here and there are absolutely fine however for longevity we do not recommend completely soaking them daily.

Can I wear mascara?

It is not recommended to wear mascara with your Go Lashes. If you are wanting more oomph! Pop an extra layer of Go Lashes on.

I have a lash lift, can I still use them?

If a lash lift is curled into an L shape this is when it will be more difficult to blend with the C & D lashes.

However, those with straight lashes will benefit from having a lash lift with a soft curl to blend with the Go Lashes.

My lashes don't look exactly like the pictures

Please be aware that all of our Go lashes are individually handcrafted, there may be slight variations to the individual segments.

Our lash models on our website each have almond shaped eyes.

Please be aware that if a lash style has a wing effect on our models with an almond shaped eye that it will have a different effect on someone with round or downturn eyes.

On our IG we are constantly updating with new images of lashes on different eye shapes for your viewing.

What is the aftercare?

· Wait until the following day to shower

· When washing your hair tilt your head back to allow the water to rinse backwards

· Avoid oils when cleansing face

· Use a cotton pad or reusable make up remover puff to wash your face around your eyes.

· Use a cotton tip with MICELLAR water to clean make up right up close around your eye area

· If they get wet gently dry them by patting them dry or by using a low fan or fanning motion

· Reseal & clamp back into place on days 2-3

· If they start to lift if any areas re glue using the pointed end of the plastic pikster to get right up and close to pop on a little extra grip it. Re seal and clamp to secure

Why aren't my lashes staying on?

Below is a list of reasons why your lash segment may not be staying put. We always recommend viewing our “how to” page Before attempting to apply the lashes to avoid any of the below. Following these directions will help you avoid problems that can occur.

Ensure you have chosen a lash style that your natural lashes will be able to withhold. As the glue is a soft and flexible substance (not hard like regular lash glue) it requires sticking to a lash that can hold your segment in place.

Ensure your natural & go lashes are clean from all moisturizers and oils before starting.

Allow the glue to become tacky before starting to apply your lash.

If eyes are watery the glue will be unable to dry and will not be able to set. Use a mini fan or come back and start again when eyes are not watering.

Curling your natural lashes so that your natural lashes and the go lash sit perfectly togther

Attaching the lashes too close to the skin or waterline. The lashes are designed to sit 1mm away from the waterline, not directly on it. If the glue is applied directly onto the waterline not only will it be uncomfortable but your eyes will become watery and the glue will not be able to set, making your lashes slide right off.

Clamping. This part is huge! Seal the lashes and then clamp them in place to secure them. If this step is missed the glue will feel tacky and lashes could drop.

Not using enough glue. The glue on the spine needs to bond to the glue you have applied to your natural lashes. If there isn’t enough glue being used they will not be able to stick together

Using too much glue. If too much glue is used it will not be able to dry and go tacky. It would dry over a longer period of time however when we are constantly moving our eyes and blinking the glue cannot set and therefore will fall off

Lash style chosen is too heavy / long for your natural lashes

Using a cleanser or moisturizer with oil in it while wearing the lashes

Getting lashes wet and not drying them correctly
