Prior to application:
1. Cleanse, Cleanse, Cleanse!
Remove all moisturisers and natural oils from your lashes with a oil free cleanser. You want the natural lashes squeaky clean! This will ensure the pre-glue on the lash segment will grip to your natural lashes.
If you attempt to stick the segment on before cleansing and the pre glue touches any oils that may be on your lash, you will take away the stickiness and the segment will need to be used with a lash glue.
Side note;
This includes touching the adhesive with your fingers. Ensure to only use the applicator to remove the segments from the tray.
2. Removing the lashes from the tray
Remove the segments from the tray using the applicators by giving them a little nudge underneath the segment where they are attached to the tray. Avoid touching the pre glue at all costs as pulling this adhesive out of place will disturb how sticky the segment is as well as make it uncomfortable when being worn.
3. Curl your natural lashes!
Curling your lashes prior to application will not only mean they will be easier to apply but they will also look better on a lifted lash.
If you have naturally downward facing lashes we recommend getting a soft lash lift prior to wearing press on lashes as this will help them not only look better but also last longer too.
PSA: Weather affects the glue!
If you are in cooler weather or your segments are kept in a cool location you may find they are not sticking how they should be. We recommend heating your segments up with a hair dryer to bring back their sticky power prior to application.
Aftercare and During wear tips:
Using other products
During wear it is best to use moisturizer and serums without any oils in them.
If you have naturally oily skin and or eye area to ensure all natural oils are removed as this could cause your press on lash adhesive to slide off sooner than you are hoping. We recommend doing this with a cleanser on a cotton tip to be precise.
Live in a humid climate?
If you have been in heat or humidity all day you can also use a hair dryer on cool to prevent your lashes from being too sticky and sticking together while you sleep.
